RISE Strength Training Programs

We believe that strength training should be an integral part in every runners program. RISE offers various strength training programs specifically crafted to enhance your running performance. Building strength not only helps keep you injury-free, but can provide you with speed throughout the race, a kick at the end of a race, ability to power up hills, and confidence that your body can sustain your amount and intensity of running training.

Nell Rojas is currently ranked 6th fastest marathoner in the US. She graduated from the University of Northern Arizona with a Masters degree in Exercise Science. Nell has three different coaching certifications: USATF Level I, USA Weightlifting, and VDot/Jack Daniels. Jenna Zajac PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist and currently pursuing her PhD in Rehabilitation Science at Boston University. Jenna is a distance runner herself and is a certified running gait analyst, biomechanist, and has taken several courses in strength and power training for endurance athletes.

Once you purchase a strength plan on the website, you will be set up on the TrueCoach app for the generalized plans or connected with Jenna for the individual plans. If you sign up for the individual plan, Jenna will set up an initial meeting with you to determine how to tailor the strength training to you.

Generalized Strength Training - $199

-12-week strength program for runners at the beginner, intermediate, or advanced level designed by Nell Rojas

-PDF program calendar that includes hyperlinked videos, descriptions, and sets and reps of each exercise. There are 2 strength workouts per week to be done in the gym and two optional “band” workouts which are shorter at home workouts. 

Individualized Strength Training -$249

-4-week strength program that is individually tailored to your specific needs, goals, races, etc designed by our team physical therapist, Jenna

-1-on-1 consultation with Jenna

-Unlimited communication with Jenna through calls, texts, and emails

-Option to re-subscribe after 4 weeks
